Alumnes de l'Escola de Música en 1954

The School of Music of the Ateneo Musical y de Enseñanza Banda Primitiva de Llíria is one of the mainstays of our society.

The School is the “source of supply” of the several artistic ensembles of our society. Many of the musicians educated in our centre are now members of the most important orchestras and bands in Spain. Moreover, many of the teachers of the most famous music schools of Spain have also been trained in the Music School of La Banda Primitiva de Llíria

At present, around 300 students learn music here.

In our Music School, students are taught musical language and the different instrumental divisions:

  • Wood Wind: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone.
  • Metal Wind: trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba and bass saxhorn.
  • String: violin, viola, cello, contrabass and piano.
  • Percussion.

The Music School has recently included new subjects such as introduction to music for very young children and traditional instruments which have been very successfully accepted.
